Screen Dos Product-Specific Privacy Information

Version 1.0 Language: English (Authoritative Version) Established and Effective Date: September 1, 2026 Operator: Nagori Soft Correction before the initial product release: October 12, 2026 (Version 1.0 retained)

This document supplements the Nagori Soft Privacy Policy for Screen Dos. The base screen-sharing application, Nagori Soft Contribution, and Screen Dos Virtual Display are distinct functions.

1. Base Screen Sharing

Screen Dos shares a selected screen or window directly between the Host and an approved Viewer over a trusted LAN or user-managed private VPN. Signaling is local, and shared-screen video uses direct WebRTC communication. Nagori Soft does not operate a relay that receives or stores shared-screen content. Connection URLs, PINs, approvals, display selection, language, quality settings, and operational logs are processed locally unless a function below sends data to Nagori Soft.

IP addresses, ports, and network metadata are necessarily visible to the devices and network services involved. A user-selected VPN provider may process traffic under its own terms. Direct exposure of the Host to the public Internet is not supported.

2. Connections to Nagori Soft

A commerce-enabled release may contact Nagori API at startup, when Virtual Display is used, and when the user explicitly refreshes license state. Manual update checks contact the official update service only when the user chooses Help → Check for updates. Contribution Code registration contacts Nagori API when the user submits a Code. Verification of a stored signed Receipt and removal of the registration take place locally and do not contact Nagori API for those operations.

Requests also carry ordinary network and security metadata such as IP address, HTTP method and path, timestamp, nonce, and request signature. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request and routing information, and security metadata while delivering the official website, downloads, and Nagori API.

3. Nagori Soft Contribution

Contribution is voluntary support, not a purchase and not a software license. When a user enters a Contribution Code, Screen Dos sends the Code and information necessary to verify it. After successful verification, Screen Dos stores the signed Receipt locally; it does not persist the raw Contribution Code. Removing the registration deletes the local signed Receipt but does not cancel or refund the original Contribution.

Contribution checkout uses standard Stripe Payments. Stripe processes payment credentials and transaction data. Nagori Soft may receive the purchaser email, amount, currency, transaction status, and identifiers needed to confirm the Contribution, issue or revoke a Code, send a confirmation, prevent abuse, and answer inquiries. Resend may process the recipient email, message content, delivery events, and technical metadata to deliver the confirmation from `notify.nagorisoft.com`. Screen Dos itself does not receive the purchaser email or payment-card details.

4. Virtual Display Trial and Entitlement

Screen Dos Virtual Display is a paid optional component. To determine trial and entitlement state, Screen Dos may send to Nagori API:

  • the fixed product SKU and requested trial, purchase, entitlement, activation, deactivation, or refresh operation;
  • an installation-scoped random device identifier, Ed25519 device public key, public-key hash, and optional user-entered device label (the product default label is used when blank);
  • Screen Dos Version, Windows platform, and architecture;
  • a signed request containing method, path, body, timestamp, and nonce; and
  • operational identifiers needed to match a pending checkout, signed Receipt, entitlement, or device registration.

The private Ed25519 device key remains on the PC and is protected using Electron `safeStorage`; it is not transmitted. The selected device label is included in device registration and activation requests. The app does not automatically include a MAC address, hardware serial number, Windows user name, or host name in those Nagori API requests and does not use a hardware fingerprint scheme.

Screen Dos obtains MAC addresses locally from the OS to select and re-identify network adapters. It forms an adapter identifier from an available non-zero MAC address and adapter name and stores the explicitly selected adapter identifier in local settings. This identifier contains a MAC-derived value and is not an anonymized hash. The app does not automatically include these MAC addresses or adapter identifiers in its logs, generated Diagnostics reports, LAN/private VPN signaling, or requests to Nagori API or other external services. Content that the user chooses to enter as a device label is included in the registration and activation requests described above.

A 14-day no-card trial starts only after the virtual display is created, Windows recognizes it, Screen Dos maps it, and the Nagori Soft server confirms the start. There is no local-clock-only start or offline trial grace. Nagori Soft retains trial and device records as needed to enforce one trial, prevent abuse, provide the function, and handle security or disputes.

After purchase, Nagori Soft stores the product and SKU, purchaser email in protected form and a lookup value, provider transaction identifiers, price, currency, tax and payment state, License ID, entitlement Version scope, timestamps, refund state, registered device identifiers and public keys, activation state, and signed Receipt data. Complete card numbers and card verification codes are entered with Stripe and are not stored by Nagori Soft.

5. Purchase, Recovery, Management, and Refund

Selecting purchase opens the system default browser to Stripe Managed Payments Checkout. Stripe or the service identified at checkout acts as merchant of record for the transaction and processes payment, applicable indirect taxes, fraud, disputes, and transaction administration under its own privacy notice. A success redirect does not itself create an entitlement; server-confirmed payment controls.

No Nagori Soft account or password is required. Purchase recovery and management use the purchase email, License ID, and a short-lived verification code. Nagori Soft stores only information required to issue and verify that challenge and the resulting short-lived management session. Resend processes the recipient email, message content, delivery events, and technical metadata to deliver the code from `notify.nagorisoft.com`.

Purchase management displays registered devices, permits deactivation, and offers a full self-service refund within 14 days after purchase. A refund revokes the paid entitlement and device authorizations. A signed Receipt stored locally may continue to authorize offline use until Screen Dos next refreshes successfully, so refund and deactivation may not take effect instantly on an offline device.

6. Local Storage and Logs

Depending on functions used, Screen Dos stores locally: application and display settings; consent and first-run state; a random device identifier; protected private device key; signed trial or entitlement Receipt; pending checkout identifier; and signed Contribution Receipt. Local logs may contain timestamps, operation results, error details, and non-secret technical identifiers needed for troubleshooting.

Screen Dos does not intentionally write purchaser email, complete payment credentials, Stripe or Resend secrets, the raw Contribution Code, private device key material, shared-screen pixels, or Viewer-entered PINs to Nagori Soft logs.

7. Retention and International Processing

Local data remains until the user removes it, removes related app data, or the app replaces it. Nagori Soft retains commerce, Contribution, entitlement, device, refund, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute records only for the period reasonably needed for the function, legal obligations, or claims. Short-lived verification codes and sessions expire after their operational period; related security logs may be retained for a limited abuse-prevention period.

Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and their subprocessors may process information outside the user's country or region. Nagori Soft uses provider contractual and transfer safeguards where required by applicable law. Provider records and current processing locations are governed by their respective terms and privacy notices.

8. User Choices and Rights

Ordinary screen sharing can be used without Contribution or Virtual Display. A user may decline Contribution, not start a trial, not purchase, remove a local Contribution Receipt, deactivate a device, request an eligible refund, and remove local app data. Requests concerning access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or another right available under applicable law may be sent to the contact below. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained where law or legitimate claims require it.
